Illustrator is the industry standard vector graphics software. Vector graphics define an object or image as a set of lines, points, and gradients that can be scaled without losing clarity. Illustrator enables you to make pixel-perfect selections and is particularly useful in designing logos.

Illustrator is a professional-level program that allows artists to create and edit high-resolution vector graphics, including paths, shapes, and text. Illustrator uses smart object technology, which enables the built-in text and shapes to behave like «Smart Objects.»

Adobe does not promote Illustrator as a tool for beginners.

Review: @DaveByrneSFS- Brokeback Mountain

This is it – my first review – feel free to send me flowers or chocolate.

Brokeback Mountain is the most commercially successful movie to come out of the Western genre. Yes, it is very biased and is definitely a white, heterosexual, male view of the entire fantasy that is the cowboy/booster culture.

All the major characters in the film are either heterosexual or gay, with the two male leads the only ones who actually seem to have a romantic relationship. Cheers to that. One of the major things I liked about the movie was that, although the screenplay has very strong implications about gay culture and the prejudice towards homosexuals, the movie shows both of the main characters going right down the middle of the road in terms of what “successful” relationship is – particularly between Ennis and Jack.

I have to say that I was quite unprepared for the powerful drama that Brokeback Mountain can be. I did not, however, think the movie was pretentious or over-blown. Instead, I found myself drawn into the romance of the two best friends as they worked their way through the issues that come with friendship and with time.

In what is becoming one of the most well known stories in cinema, we begin with Ennis (Jake Gyllenhaal) a lawyer in a very big law firm with the goal of eventually taking on even bigger cases, and Jack (Barrett Foa) a young man who lives next door with his dying mother. Though we only see them in passing, we soon learn that they have been best friends since childhood, and they have been through quite a bit together – Jack is pretty much always by Ennis’s side as they grow up.

In the movie, Jack runs a trailer on the range, and when Ennis travels to visit and see how his family is doing, he takes the liberty of inviting Jack to meet his family at their house. In just a few minutes, we learn they are not exactly the best of friends – his brother has been transferred to New York and his mother is increasingly incoherent and unpredictable.

Two months later, Ennis has moved into Jack’s trailer, following the advice of a friend, and his most valuable possession is, in fact, his mother’s wedding ring. Ennis becomes more withdrawn, and they start to drift apart. As the two head towards their reunion, we
