The sequel to the original game, Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues is a top down, east meets west inspired beat’em up where you fight your way through 5 stages in order to defeat the Cobra Kai organization. Posted:17th June 2014 12.25am For the last couple of weeks, we’ve been tracking down a select group of developers and watching them play their own game. It started with us having a bit of fun and, in the end, it became a lot more serious than we thought. At our request, Rockstar would send five of their top staff on a plane to a secret location. Then, a hotel. Then, food, drinks, and a game. A game for game. It’s not something we’d normally do, but we wanted to experience their journey through Codename: Wallpaper. The developers that showed up were senior level people, but the game itself is very basic, and it was a chance to see how they got from concept to development. We also put them through a whole day of interviews and questions. Together, we were able to track the whole story of the game from the start to finish. The main question we’re trying to answer is how this game was made in such a short amount of time. But alongside all this, we wanted to hear about the game, the process and anything else that was brought out during the process.
