The world is no longer the same. The sun has grown dark, the Moon is covered in black, and the world has grown cold. The growing darkness has been overcome by the fire of the dark Lord, yet time has little meaning anymore. People have been imprisoned and forced to serve their Lord. The landscape is dominated by huge castles, an entire city has been sealed off by a giant wall of black stone, and the entire land lies under a cursed fog that never lifts. There is only one beacon of light — the Dragonhunter, a hero who has set out to save this world. There are endless dungeons to explore, countless treasures to find, and an evil dragon to vanquish. There are endless challenges, countless hours of questing, and endless fun. You can take on your friends and foes alone, or you can team up with your friends and forge a lasting bond. No matter your choice, there is no game quite like it.

1982 is a FREE retro inspired blasta-thon that will test your gaming skills to the max.
The game was created using AppGameKit an easy, quick and powerful game development tool.
Arcade — battle through 50 progressively difficult levels against some familiar early 80’s home computer and arcade enemies.
Survivor — how many points can you score with only one life?
Time Attack — score as many points as you can in 3 mins. Unlimited energy, but each hit reduces your score multiplierPOWER-UPS — Kill, Catch or Collect
Each power-up has 2 uses, one when collected by the players ship and the other when shot and destroyed.
If you catch a power-up before it hits the ground then it’s effect is increased. (ie. More energy is regained or lasers, rockets or shield last longer.) A successful catch is indicated by a heart.
Kill, Catch or Collect?
The 4 types and uses are as follows:
1. Energy Power-ups (green)
Kill — creates a large explosion
Catch or Collect — restore player energy
2. Laser Power-ups (red)
Kill — deploys a temporary horizontally firing laser turret
Catch or Collect — grants player a temporary weapon increase
3. Rockets Power-ups (purple)
Kill — deploys a temporary rotating rocket launching turret
Catch or Collect — grants player a temporary rocket power-up
4. Shield Power-ups (cyan)
Kill — creates a temporary portal that destroys all enemy bullets
Catch or Collect — grants the player a temporary shield protecting against all impactsSCORING
Each enemy kill is worth 1 pt x score multiplier.
The Score Multiplier is increased by filling the kill gauge on the left of the screen. To do this string a lot of kills together quickly. Failing to kill anything causes the gauge to drop.
Abductions.of Man & Multipliers
When a certain number of enemies reach the ground a Man will be abducted by a yellow saucer. As well as abducting Man the saucer takes x3 from your multiplier.
Kill the saucer and allow Man to fall safely to the ground and your x3 multiplier is returned.
The number of enemies reaching the ground needed to trigger an abduction reduces as your multiplier increases. High multipliers are hard to defend.

It’s no secret that I love listening to audio stuff. That’s why I’ve made all my own mixes since I first started putting together Podcasts (like I Remember, Shotgun, Sample Free Mode, and my new Bootleg mix). My First Mix with Cory Joseph (in collaboration with bassist Andy LeMaster) is starting to come out, and I’ve got another one coming out on Monday or Tuesday (depending on how I do my work), called “Mellow Funk.”
This mix is all of the music created by Inspector Waffles on his mixes — basically all of the extra stuff from 1995 to 1999 that was in the form of MP3s and that I purchased as or downloaded off of various places. I have about 130 tracks on this album, so it’s about ten times longer than the average mix, and it showcases a ton of amazing music that I’m so glad that this album was created. If I compare this to the first mix, this was a hell of a lot bigger — I knew that in my previous mix, I would have about 45 minutes of music by Inspector Waffles, and now it’s about seven hours of music. I guess I kept all these MP3s because it sounds interesting, and my ear just sort of latched on to them — both in terms of sound and performance.
If anyone knows more about this style of music, that sounds really particular, especially for five years, I would love to hear it. I want to write a series of articles on the history of this style of music, but I have a LOT of homework at the same time, so I’ll have to get the resources in order. This was a fun project for me — I created all of the music, and I’d bought all of the music that I had on here. I use this type of music a lot when I’m writing fiction, and I’m sure I’ll keep using this as long as it’s available.

Your heroes are five main characters for a future star-diving campaign of the Pathfinder roleplaying game. They are seasoned adventurers who have faced down their share of evils on the far corners of the cosmos. They have braved the dark depths of the Shadowfell, battled hordes of monsters on the surface of a hostile planet, and saved countless lives on mysterious factory worlds such as Elysium. Together they have traveled far and wide, discovered new worlds and lost civilizations, seen strange alien races, fought tyrants and villains, stood the test of time and even risked their lives by traveling through the sprawling galaxies beyond the stars. Now, a quest of great stakes awaits them: a mission to translate an ancient, ill-omened map that has been found. But this holds terrible dangers, for only the ablest characters will survive the dangers of the void—and the dangers that await them after they return!
